"Did you even listen to what Vincent had to say?" Jane had her arms folded, glowering up at the stubborn Army woman in front of her. "Did you listen to any of it?"

"Yes." Rina retorted, scowling right back down at the smaller woman. She kept telling herself that she wasn't phased by the level of vicious glare being directed at her, but she wouldn't admit to anyone - not even herself - that it rattled her a little bit. Still, that didn't mean she had to respond to it or give in to it. And Rina was too stubborn to just give in. "I listened to what he said. I read everything he showed me."

"You are still going in." Jane growled, and this time she finally pushed off of where she'd been leaning on the table behind her, crossing towards the other female.

"Yes. I'm still going in." Rina snapped, and glowered down at the other woman. "You aren't going to stop me, Pup."

Jane bristled. And then a hand went up, very nearly poking the woman in the chest, and then stopping once it was in her face. The wolf female's golden eyes narrowed, and her ears flicked back, her other hand balling up into a fist as she just barely stopped herself shy of a wolfen confrontational move - going nose to nose - and settled for pointing a finger into the Army woman's face.

"If you get him caught in the middle of this. If you get him hurt. If he gets mixed up in this because of your stupidity and foolishness," Jane growled, lifting up on her toes just enough to follow through with the wolven mannerism after all. She was quite literally nose to nose with the other female by now. "If he gets hurt because of you, believe me, you will WISH they HAD killed you by the time I and my mate get done with you. Do you understand me?"

Rina arched a brow at the woman. Okay, this level of ferocity was very unexpected - and there was something in the smaller woman's eyes that set her teeth to wanting to chatter in her mouth, but she bit down on the feeling and did her best to squash it. She'd examine it later.

"I understand you perfectly well. He won't get hurt."

Jane growled, ears flattened right down to her skull. "For your sake," she rumbled, her voice sounding more wolf than human by this point, "he had better not."

The she-wolf spun about on her heels and stalked away without another word, leaving Rina to just stare at her retreating back.
